Where long span earns its place
Awkward stock. Items too long or too bulky for a standard shelf, too light or too irregular to palletise. Long span gives you a clear span of up to around 2.4 metres per bay with a timber or mesh deck, so nothing sits in the middle of your reach.
It is also the cheapest way to add real capacity
Because the bays are wide and the components are few, long span is usually the lowest cost per cubic metre of storage you can buy. For a growing business that is not ready for a forklift, it is often the right first move.

Common questions
Is long span the same as longspan racking?
Yes, the terms are used interchangeably. Some suppliers call it longspan shelving, others long span racking. It is the same product.
How much weight will a bay hold?
It depends on the beam and the deck. We size it to what you are actually storing, so tell us the heaviest item and we will spec it from there.

Pallet Racking
